- Teleport uses usage-based pricing across four billing metrics: Monthly Active Users (MAU) for human users, Machine/Workload Identity (MWI) for non-human identities, and Teleport Protected Resources (TPR) for infrastructure assets.
- All enterprise pricing is custom/quote-only with no published list prices.
- Deployment options (cloud, on-premises, FIPS, multi-region HA, hybrid, edge) do not affect billing metrics except multi-region HA, which carries a minimum contract value.
- A Community Edition is available free of charge for organizations with fewer than 100 employees and less than $10M in annual revenue, though it lacks some enterprise features.
- A free trial of the cloud edition is available.
