Mailgun uses a four-tier volume-based Send plan structure billed monthly: Free (100 emails/day, $0), Basic (from $15/mo for 10K emails), Foundation (from $35/mo for 50K emails, 1-month free trial), and Scale (from $90/mo for 100K emails, 1-month free trial). Enterprise plans are custom-priced for 2.5M+ sends/month and include Rapid Fire Burst SLA and managed deliverability consulting. Overage rates range from $1.80/1K (Basic) down to $1.10/1K (Scale). Dedicated IPs are add-ons at $59/IP/month. The Optimize deliverability suite is priced separately starting at $49/mo (Pilot) and $99/mo (Starter). Email validation on Foundation is priced from $1.20 per 100 validations. The legacy Flex pay-as-you-go plan was discontinued for new users and its pricing doubled to $2.00/1K in December 2025.
