Lago offers two paid cloud tiers—Business and Enterprise—both requiring a sales conversation (no public price list). Third-party sources estimate cloud pricing from approximately $1,000–$3,000 per month. The self-hosted open-source version is free under the AGPLv3 license but excludes premium features such as the customer portal, advanced integrations, and dedicated support. Lago does not charge a percentage of revenue, distinguishing it from transaction-fee billing models used by Stripe Billing and similar incumbents. Some add-ons (progressive billing, tax integrations, CRM/ERP integrations, dunning, forward-deployed engineers) are available at additional cost.
