Stainless charges per 'generator' (each SDK, Docs site, or MCP server counts as one generator). Free tier: $0, up to 5 generators, ≤25 API endpoints, basic features. Starter: $79/month per generator (monthly billing; annual discounts available), up to 50 endpoints included, onboarding Slack support. Pro: $499/month per generator, up to 100 endpoints, dedicated Slack channel, mock test server, OAuth 2.0, up to 10,000 lines of custom code. Enterprise: custom pricing with SSO, audit logs, breaking change detection, advanced release management, SLAs, and white-glove onboarding. Volume discounts available on paid plans. Generated SDK code is licensed Apache 2.0 and owned by the customer. Non-commercial open-source projects may qualify for a free Starter plan.
