Apigee pricing context

Apigee offers three pricing models. (1) Evaluation: free 60-day sandbox trial. (2) Pay-as-you-go: charges based on API call volume (starting at $20/1M calls for extensible proxies; standard proxies priced at 1/5th the cost), environment type (Base, Intermediate, Comprehensive; starting at ~$365/month/region), and proxy deployment units ($0.04/hour/region). API Analytics and Advanced API Security are paid add-ons starting at $20/1M API calls under PAYG. (3) Subscription: three tiers—Standard, Enterprise, and Enterprise Plus—priced via custom quote. Indicative third-party estimates place Standard at ~$500/month (15M calls included) and Enterprise at $2,500+/month ($25K–$100K+/year in practice). Subscription includes bundled call volumes, environments, and entitlements defined in the 2024 subscription plan.
