Technical AEO Audits in Owned Content

A new AEO health report checks whether AI crawlers can discover, access, and extract your primary brand domains.

AEO Health for Your Brand Sites

DevTune now includes a technical AEO audit in Owned Content. The new AEO health report checks whether AI crawlers and answer engines can discover, access, extract, and understand your primary brand domains.

Each audited domain gets a score, status, check list, findings, affected URLs where available, and concrete remediation guidance.

What It Checks

The audit combines existing owned crawl data with lightweight live checks:

  • Crawl coverage and homepage presence
  • Content extractability and markdown extraction quality
  • Page metadata coverage
  • Sitemap discovery and lastmod freshness signals
  • AI crawler access for search and retrieval user agents
  • Homepage raw HTML and noindex signals
  • Optional llms.txt guidance

Audits refresh after domain crawls when the prior result is stale, and eligible primary domains are scheduled for monthly refreshes.

More Useful Remediation

Findings now include website-scoped remediation advice. When a finding is suitable for an external implementation agent, DevTune shows a copyable agent prompt that focuses on the public website, CMS, routing, metadata, sitemap, or CDN/WAF configuration.

The full report can also be copied for review, while agent prompts are hidden when the finding is not actionable as a website-code fix.

Public Brand Scorecards

Public brand pages can now show a lightweight AEO readiness scorecard. The public view shares broad crawlability signals, while exact findings, affected URLs, remediation details, and audit history stay inside the signed-in DevTune app.
